Day 01: Guwahati – Sualkuchi – Brahmaputra Cruise Arrive in Guwahati and transfer to Pandu Port to board your luxury cruise vessel, ABN Sukapha. Enjoy lunch onboard as the cruise begins sailing downstream towards Sualkuchi, the renowned silk weaving town of Assam. Take a guided walk through the bustling weaving village and witness the complete silk-making process — from cocoon spinning and dyeing to hand-weaving exquisite Assamese mekhela chadars. Return to the vessel and continue cruising towards the Saraighat Bridge region. Day 02: Kamakhya Temple – River Cruising After breakfast, drive to the famous Kamakhya Temple located atop Nilachal Hill. One of India’s most sacred tantric pilgrimage sites, the temple is dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya and reflects the rich spiritual heritage of Assam. Walk through the temple complex surrounded by pilgrims, rituals, and vibrant local culture before returning to the cruise vessel. Later, continue cruising upstream towards Mayong while enjoying the scenic river landscapes. Day 03: Riverside Villages & Leisure Cruising This morning, visit a charming riverside Assamese village surrounded by lush green vegetable fields and traditional homes. Interact with local communities and experience rural Assamese life along the Brahmaputra. The remainder of the day is spent leisurely cruising upstream. Relax on deck, enjoy panoramic river views, or simply observe life unfolding along the riverbanks and forested hills. In the evening, enjoy a live Indian cooking demonstration onboard featuring regional flavors. Day 04: Kaziranga National Park Safari Continue cruising towards Silghat. After lunch onboard, drive to Kaziranga National Park for an exciting jeep safari in the park’s western range. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kaziranga is globally famous for the Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros and also supports rich populations of elephants, wild buffalo, swamp deer, and Royal Bengal Tigers. The park’s grasslands, marshes, and forests make it one of India’s finest wildlife habitats and an excellent destination for birdwatching. Return to the cruise after safari.
