Itinerary

Day 01: Entebbe International Airport – Transfer to Kampala

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Kampala. In the evening, enjoy a short city orientation tour (time permitting) including Kabaka’s Palace and the Uganda National Museum. Dinner and overnight stay in Kampala.

Day 02: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park | Evening Boat Cruise

After breakfast, drive westwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping at the Equator for photographs and refreshments. En route, enjoy scenic countryside views and traditional villages.

Arrive in time for an evening boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and birdlife. This cruise offers excellent wildlife photography opportunities.

Day 03: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Morning Game Drive – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Start early with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, searching for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob and more. After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

The drive offers breathtaking views of rolling hills, tea plantations and dense forests.

Day 04: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Gorilla Trekking – Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before embarking on your gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.

Once found, spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. After trekking, proceed to Lake Bunyonyi, known for its scenic beauty and tranquility. Enjoy canoeing or relaxing by the lakeside.

Day 05: Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park | Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest but wildlife-rich park. En route, visit the Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch and cultural insights.

In the evening, enjoy a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park, famous for zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes and diverse bird species.

Day 06: Lake Mburo – Morning Horseback Safari – Return to Kampala / Entebbe
