DAY 01: Arrival in Kigali :
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional representative. After a brief meet-and-greet, you will be transferred to your hotel in Kigali.
Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the hotel or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the city. Kigali is known as one of Africa’s cleanest and safest cities.

DAY 02: Kigali City Tour → Ruhengeri (Musanze):
After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a guided Kigali City Tour. Highlights include:
- A visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, providing a powerful and educational insight into Rwanda’s history, resilience, and reconciliation.
- A short city drive through key neighborhoods, markets, and viewpoints offering scenic city panoramas.
Lunch will be served at a selected local restaurant.
In the afternoon, drive north to Ruhengeri (Musanze), approximately 2.5–3 hours, passing through Rwanda’s beautiful rolling hills and rural landscapes.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge located near the Virunga Volcanoes, where you can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

DAY 03: Gorilla Trekking – Volcanoes National Park:
After an early breakfast, transfer to Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi for a pre-trek briefing by park rangers. You will be assigned a gorilla family and informed about trekking guidelines.
Proceed into the rainforest for the Mountain Gorilla Trekking experience, hiking through dense vegetation and volcanic terrain. Trek duration may range from 1 to 6 hours depending on gorilla movements.
Spend a magical and unforgettable one hour with the gorillas, observing their behavior, interactions, and natural habitat—truly a once-in-a-lifetime wildlife encounter.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. The afternoon is at leisure to rest, enjoy the lodge amenities, or reflect on your incredible experience.

DAY 04: Optional Golden Monkey Trek / Leisure Day:
After breakfast, enjoy a flexible day in Ruhengeri. You may choose one of the following options:
- Optional Golden Monkey Trek: Head back to Volcanoes National Park for a guided trek to see the playful and endangered Golden Monkeys, known for their energetic behavior in bamboo forests.
OR
- Leisure Day: Relax at the lodge, take guided nature walks, visit nearby local communities, explore Musanze town, or enjoy scenic views of the Virunga Volcanoes.
Lunch and dinner will be served at the lodge.

DAY 05: Ruhengeri → Kigali – Departure:
After breakfast, check out from the lodge and drive back to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for last-minute shopping or a short city stop.
Transfer to Kigali International Airport for your onward journey.
