Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Rajkot / Ahmedabad - Sasan Gir

Arrival at Rajkot / Ahmedabad and transfer to Sasan Gir by car Check in to Hotel. After lunch and followed by some rest after which we head for our first Jungle Safari. We return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 : Sasan Gir

Early morning we pay our visits to the Gir Forest for a morning jungle safari. Breakfast will be served upone return from the safari leisure time till lunch. After lunch we head for the last Jungle Safari. As the wildlife ecstasy dies down, the night is spent at the resort.

Day 3 : Sasan Gir - Diu

Early morning Lion safari and departure to Diu. Diu is a small island covering an area of 38.8 Sq. kms near Junagadh of the Saurastra Peninsula of Gujarat. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 4 : Diu

After breakfast whilst here, you would visit the Nagoa Beach, Gangeshwar Temple, Ghoghala Beach, Chakratirth, St. Pauls Charch, Jallandhar Beach, Museum, and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 5 : Diu - Rajkot / Ahmedabad

After breakfast depart to Rajkot / Ahmedabad, arrive Rajkot / Ahmedabad by Evening. Drop at Railway Station / Airport. "Tour Ends" - Return back Home with "Khushboo Gujarat Ki...."

Overview

 Sasan Gir is one of the most important wildlife sanctuaries of India and the tourist destination in Gujarat. Gir National Park is known as the last habitat of Asiatic lions in the world. The park's core zone, which extends for almost 260 square kilometers, was declared as a national park in 1975. However, the sanctuary was set up a decade earlier, and lion numbers have been increasing since then. The park's forested hilly terrain makes it a preferred habitat for the jackals, leopards, antelope, and deer that also live there. It's a home to crocodiles, and over 300 species of resident birds as well. Diu is located in the Union Territory of Daman and Diu and is at a distance of 125km from Junagarh. The city is at sea level. The word ‘Diu’ originates from the Sanskrit word ‘Dweep’ which means island. Diu is famous for its vast pristine beaches, Portuguese-style architecture and vast variety of churches.
